About us

The Link is a vital service designed to support individuals within the migrant population by providing a safe and secure telephone service that connects them to essential resources, wherever they are. As an independent contact, we offer critical support, guiding individuals toward safe accommodations and local resources.

A core value of our work is collaborating with the migrant community to shape and build this service, ensuring their voices and experiences are central to its creation.

Our core mission is to empower people on the move, collaborate with solidarity groups, and ensure dignified, reliable support for all, fostering a network of protection and inclusivity.

Our vision is to create a world where migrants are safe, protected, and have equitable access to the resources they need to thrive.

Our team comprises individuals with varied backgrounds operating on both sides of this border, all sharing extensive experience in directly assisting, informing, and supporting migrants. Recognizing a significant unmet need within this community led to the creation of The Link.

To ensure the responsible and sustainable operation of our project, and to safeguard the individuals we support and our dedicated volunteer network, our association benefits from access to legal counsel and advice.

People on the move face significant challenges in accessing vital information and support.
Traditional methods of information dissemination can be ineffective due to factors such as language barriers, literacy challenges, and the urgency of their needs.
These challenges can leave individuals vulnerable and disconnected from essential resources, hindering their ability to find safe accommodation and support as they continue their journeys.
